The results of The Power and Electrical Engineering International Trade Exhibition

From 6th to 9th October 2020, Expoforum exhibition center in Saint Petersburg together with OMR 2020 hosted the international exhibition "Power and Electrical Engineering".

This year, due to the established restrictive measures against the spread of COVID-19, the dates of event were moved from April to October. In 4 days the exhibition was visited by quite large number of people. In total, more than 90 organizations, companies and representatives participated in the exhibition.

SKB EP has been participating in the «Power and Electrical Engineering» international exhibition for years, and this year the company represented both already familiar diagnostic devices for high-voltage equipment, and the new modern developments:

MIKO-2.3 micromillikiloohmmeter;
MIKO-21, MIKO-10, MIKO-1 micro-ohmmeters;
MIKO-7М(А), MIKO-8М(А), MIKO-9А milliohmmeters;
PKR-2М OLTC-analyzer;
PKV/М7 and PKV/М6N advanced high-voltage circuit breaker analyzers;
Manipulating rod.

This year, SKB EP representatives took a practical approach to the equipment demonstration and installed a vacuum circuit breaker Schneider Electric Evolis on the stand, in order to show PKV/M7 and PKV/M6N high-voltage circuit breaker analyzers, as well as MIKO-21, MIKO-1 andMIKO-10 micro-ohmmeters in operation. Visitors was able to see the real testing of the devices and to see the circuit breaker in operation during a short circuit.

Manipulating rod also attracted visitors’ interest. The rod is a unique device that helps to simplify the working process of specialists that are engaged in monitoring and diagnostics of equipment. It is the new development that has no analogues.

In addition to the main exhibition activities, the event program included daily seminars as well as SKB EP lectures on control and diagnostic devices for high-voltage electromechanical equipment. This kind of seminars allow you to exchange experience among specialists and professionals.

The exhibition was successful for SKB EP, the company’s stand was visited by representatives of companies in shipbuilding, energy, heavy industries, and also by representatives of the most famous educational institutions of Saint Petersburg.
