PKV/M7 testing on vacuum circuit breaker ABB VD4/P

Recently, PKV/M7 circuit breaker analyzer was tested on an ABB VD4/P vacuum circuit breaker at the Irkutsk HPP. HPP employees for a long time have been using instruments manufactured by SKB EP, including MIKO-2.3 micromillikiloohmmeter, PKV/M7 circuit breaker analyzer and others.

SKB EP instruments hadn’t been previously tested on this type of circuit breakers, but during the ABB VD4/P vacuum circuit breaker diagnostics specialists didn’t have any difficulties. The testing was successful, and parameters of time, travel and speed were measured with the help of PKV/M7.
