We are increasing instruments supplies to Thailand

According to international statistics, the trade turnover between Russia and Thailand increased by $ 1.2 billion in 2023, that indicates the development of business relations between two countries.

SKB EP test instruments have been successfully exported to Thai market for several years, and supplies increase every year. Work with potential and existing customers is carried out by official SKB EP representative, who organizes presentations, supplies and training after the sale.

In October, two events took place at once, after which the partner of SKB EP provided a report and photos. We are sharing the results:

• Supply of a compact MIKO-10 and training for specialists of a state water supply company.

The dealer's new client is a water supply company that supplies water to several major cities in Thailand. This organization has made the purchase of a compact micro-ohmmeter MIKO-10, therefore, the company's specialists who is going to work with the instrument have been trained according to 4 principles of work of a foreign partner.

The small-sized micro-ohmmeter MIKO-10 is designed for contact resistance measurements in the range from 1 µΩ to 0.1 Ω at a current of 1 or 10A. The instrument characterizes in several ways of fastening, leaving hands free when working with it. This micro-ohmmeter is considered to be one of the most popular SKB EP instruments in the Asian market.

• Presentation of MIKO-7M(A) milli-ohmmeter and MIKO-10 micro-ohmmeter for choosing for an electric motor manufacturer.

A new potential customer of the dealer, a Thai manufacturer of electric motors, announced the need for equipment which measures resistance in windings. In order to solve this problem, it was decided to show the operation of two instruments – MIKO-7M(A) and MIKO-10.

MIKO-10 is a micro-ohmmeter that is designed for quick resistance measurements in non–inductive circuits and has the parameters described above. It is mainly used for diagnostic of contacts in high-voltage circuit breakers, buses, wires, cables, various types of connections, etc.

MIKO-7M(A) is a milli-ohmmeter that is designed to measure active resistance to direct current in the range from 1 µΩ to 2 kΩ on 10A test current. The instrument is directly produced to measure resistance in electric motors windings, as well as in other objects with inductance.

Certainly, during the tests, the customer's choice fell on MIKO-7M(A) milli-ohmmeter. The client paid special attention to special purpose measurement modes for "included objects", the presence of a mobile application for synchronizing measurement database, and also highlighted an impact-resistant instrument housing.
