Participation in ELEC EXPO with a partner from Morocco

SKB EP specialists visited Casablanca in Morocco to participate in ELEC EXPO – the international exhibition of electricity, lighting, electrical engineering and industrial automation. SKB EP company participated in the event together with an official dealer in Morocco.

ELEC EXPO exhibition brought together 9,000 participants from 30 countries in one place and helped specialists find new business contacts. As for SKB EP, participation in this event gave the opportunity to meet and communicate with foreign colleagues from the energy sector, find new potential customers in Morocco and determine the directions of expanding the export market to African regions.

SKB EP specialists presented a wide range of instruments of its own production for high-voltage equipment diagnostic, and also talked about the opportunities and advantages of joint cooperation.

Milli-ohmmeters, in particular, the multifunctional milli-ohmmeter MIKO-9A, aroused the greatest interest of visitors of SKB EP stand. The guests of the stand noted its potential in the African market and functionality:

• resistance measurement in inductive and non-inductive circuits in the range from 1 µΩ to 30 kΩ;
• simultaneous control across three phases, as well as an additional control mode "across two windings" in complex connection schemes;
• demagnetization of the transformer's magnetic system;
• non-demounable OLTCs check (DRM method);
• heat run test (cooling test).

During the exhibition program, it was possible to communicate with representatives of high-voltage equipment manufacturers, with organizations that carry out energy facilities installation, maintenance and repair, with shipbuilding companies, as well as with industrial enterprises and many others.

In addition, SKB EP specialists took part in several business meetings organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco. During the business meetings, the specialists presented test instruments, exchanged contacts and agreed on possible cooperation.
