Results of Workshop in JSC "Lenenergo"

On the 16^th June 2014, at the invitation of the branch "Kabelnye Seti" ("Cable Networks") of JSC "Lenenergo", SKB EP company has held a training workshop under the individual program, taking into account existing high-voltage circuit breakers and the equipment purchased..

About 20 people from 9 districts of the company (Western, Northern, Eastern, Island, Central, Right-bank, Nevsky, Southern and South-Western) took part in the workshop.

The company operates PKV/М7 instruments for control of high-voltage circuit breakers. This equipment has been acquired relatively late, so the specialists have only begun to explore the features of the instruments. Therefore, this workshop will theoretically and practically answer basic questions of users.

Practice was held at VMG-10 high-voltage circuit breaker. The results of PKV/М7 diagnostics of the circuit breaker were analyzed by the workshop participants and supplemented by SKB EP specialists.

It should be noted that attachment devices are rather difficult to install on VMG-10 circuit breaker and it requires a thorough initial competent approach, or enough experience in operation of this circuit breaker.

Therefore, SKB EP specialists and the representatives of JSC "Lenenergo" have planned joint work on the preparation of the available diagnostics technique for EMG type with the help of PKV/M7 instrument.

The specialists of "Kabelnye Seti" have noted the practical usability and functionality of PKV/М7 instrument, which is proved by the continuing cooperation of SKB EP and branch "Kabelnye Seti" of JSC "Lenenergo" on equipping of JSC "Lenenergo" teams with PKV/М7 modern diagnostics instruments.
