Results of the Workshop for Specialists of PJSC YakutskEnergo and SDCs
At the end of 2015 the SKB EP Company together with NNOU UPC of Energy held a two-day training workshop on the following subject: "Control of High-Voltage Switching Devices and Transformers Using the SKB-EP Instruments".
The workshop was attended by 20 specialists from electrotechnical laboratory Yakutsk Hydropower Plant, Central Electric Grids PJSC Yakutskenergo, JSC SakhaEnergo, and Yakutsk Cogeneration Plant. Almost all the participants of the workshop had experience in using the SKB EP instruments and willingly shared their experience, told about equipment peculiarities, and made references. For example, electrotechnical laboratory Yakutsk Hydropower Plant uses the following instruments: the PKV/M7 analyzer for HV circuit breaker testing; the MIKO-7 milliohmmeter, and the MIKO-2.3 micromillikiloohmmeter. Central Electric Grids PJSC YakutskEnergo uses the PKV/M6N analyzer for HV circuit breaker testing, the MIKO-1 and MIKO-2.3 microohmmeters.
People from both companies notedthe universal MIKO-2.3 analyzer that covers all the tasks of measuring the electric equipment resistance as the analyzer works in four modes: as a microohmmeter, milliohmmeter, kiloohmmeter, and a thermometer. Moreover, the instrument is easy to operate: each mode is switched on automatically upon connection of an appropriate cable from the instrument kit; low weight and independent power supply is its advantage over similar equipment available at the market.
The first day was devoted to theoretical issues: making familiar with new SKB EP developments and answers to the questions. Theory included main aspects of the instruments operation on the HV equipment, but following the desires of participants, major attention was paid to demonstration of peculiarities of measuring and detecting the defects in the equipment nodes using the instrument procured by their company.
Within the theoretical framework the operation of the MIKO-7 was demonstrated and that of a universal analyzer MIKO-2.3. Specialists of electrotechnical laboratory Yakutsk Hydropower Plant noted convenience and functionality of the MIKO-7 analyzer for measuring the power transformer resistance.
A workshop in Yakut Republic allowed SKB EP specialist give answers to the main questions on the SKB EP instruments use; tell about new developments of the Company for non-destructivetests of HV circuit breakers and transformers.
If you need more detailed information on the instruments at practical trainings, you may place your Order for the Workshop at the Company website and our specialists will contact you!
