New attachment device and "recalculation template" for ABB VD4/P

The equipment market is constantly changing, and in order to adapt the instruments of the PKV group to new equipment, SKB EP constructs new attachment devices for DP12 and DP21 transducers that register the travel and speed parameters of high-voltage circuit breakers.

Tests were carried out at the Irkutsk HPP. SKB EP company specialists tested a new attachment device for the DP21 angular movement transducer and a special "recalculation template" for the ABB VD4/P vacuum circuit breaker.

In order to manufacture the attachment devices, the specialists of SKB EP or the service personal of the company in which the circuit breaker is operated based on the technical and operational documentation of the high-voltage facility. Upon the manufacturing of the attachment devices, tests are required. Int his case tests were successful.

Since the DP21 angular transducer captures data in degrees, a special "recalculation template" was also developed and tested. The template is realized for a specific type of object. This template is installed to the software of the PKV/M7 instrument or in the PC software for recalculation from "angular" parameters to "linear" ones. With its help, the data obtained in degrees is converted into milli-ohmmetres. So, it is more convenient for specialists to analyze the measurements obtained and make conclusions about the state of the object.
