Results of participation in exhibition "Electric Networks of Russia – 2014"
On December 2-5, 2013 SKB EP took part in a large energy exhibition "Electric Networks of Russia – 2014" - an annual event that becomes a platform for discussions of a wide range of industry issues, share of experiences and scientific ideas.
SKB EP stand was visited by more than 90 companies, including well-known manufacturers of high-voltage circuit breakers and transformers (High-Voltage Union Concern, ALSTOM-SOYUZ, CJSC, ELEKTROZAVOD, OJSHС), representatives of JSC Russian Railways, installation and commissioning organizations, organizations engaged in design and construction of substations, as well as various units of electric networks. Detailed technical consultation was provided to each visitor of the stand.
Specialists who had already worked with the instruments for control of high-voltage circuit breakers of PKV group were interested in peculiarities of their work at particular high-voltage facilities, as well as desire to replace obsolete models (PKV/V2, PKV/U2, PKV/M4, PKV/M, etc.) with modern one - PKV/M7 and PKV/U3.
Users of micromillikiloohmmeter MIKO-2.3 noted advantageous characteristics of the instrument in operation:
- The combination of four modes in one instrument: microohmmeter, milliohmmeter, kiloohmmeter and thermometer allows for saving on the acquisition of different instruments and makes it possible to cover all resistance measurement tasks in electrical equipment.
- Lightweight and self-contained supply, that enables work with MIKO-2.3 not from the ground but staying on the circuit breaker or transformer cover or in the lift cradle. Therefore it is necessary to go up and down the equipment only once, but not twice as in case with the instrument with line supply.
Guests of the stand shared information about the usability of the instruments for the control of OLTC transformers PKR-1 (off the production) and PKR-2. The last-mentioned allows for the taking of circle diagrams (for reactor and resistor OLTCs) and oscillograms of contactor operation (high-speed resistor-type OLTC) simultaneously in all phases by one switching from the tap lead to tap lead.
Note: advantages of PKR-1, which received positive feedback as well as wishes and recommendations of users of SKB EP equipment, were taken into account when developing PKR-2; that is why PKR-2 inherited advantages of predecessor, and also acquired new additional features. As a result, the instrument was developed, which became an indispensable tool for control and diagnostics both reactor and resistor OLTCs.
A new development - modern microohmmeter MIKO-21 – which drew a lot of attention was presented at the exhibition. Specialists identified a number of benefits that would be the most useful for the instrument operation:
- Integrated database of certified values of contact transient resistance of high-voltage circuit breakers switches makes it possible to automatically compare the measured value with the certified one, when specifying the circuit breaker mark.
- Ability to create measurement patterns with the required parameters eliminates the time outlays by their preliminary saving in the instrument memory. So, all the presets before the measuring come down to a simple choice of one of the available patterns.
- Interactive and modern control: microohmmeter can be operated (user-selectable) through a membrane keyboard or through a touch screen of color display. PC connection is carried out not only via USB, but also via the flash drive, making it easy to transfer data from the instrument to the enterprise database.
New microohmmeter has a number of functional and technical features that allow it to stay ahead of similar instruments.
Particular interest to SKB EP products was shown by Education Institutions such as Kostroma Training Center for Professional Advancement, Moscow and Belgorod Training Centers of FGC UES, JSC, etc. In their view, the issue of education and advanced vocational training of specialists, engaged in the operation, repair, installation and commissioning of high-voltage instruments, is relevant and important.
In addition, given the constantly undergoing modernization and the development of new instruments, software update – SKB EP offers its services on personnel training according to three educational programs.
As a result of the exhibition lots of positive feedback and recommendations were received. We express gratitude to all visitors for showing their trust in us and for choice of SKB EP equipment. We are looking forward to cooperation with you in the next year.
