Practical trainings in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia
In the beginning of August, 2019 SKB EP specialists visited the Republic of Buryatia, Russia to carry out several tests on high-voltage equipment. To carry out these measurements our specialists used MIKO-9(A) milliohmmeter, MIKO-21 and MIKO-10 microohmmeters, PKR-2M OLTC analyzer and PKV/M7 HV circuit breaker analyzer.

The PKR-2M testing at OJSC ZAVOD RETO Company
Early in December the SKB EP specialists together with specialists of OJSC ZAVOD RETO (Electric equipment maintenance plant) conducted multi-disciplinary tests of new software of the PKR-2M instrument for the transformer LTC diagnosis. Tests were performed on the maintained transformer with LTC device of RS-9 type.

New Development – Variable-Resistance Transducer for Vacuum Circuit Breakers
For ease of measuring on vacuum circuit breakers with an open insulating housing and access to the moving contact of arc chute the DP32.1 variable-resistance transducer with analog channel was designed to measure linear displacement in the range of 25 mm.
